Heather Hildebrandt started dancing at the age of 5 in Duluth. She competed in local and national competitions from ages 9-18, and performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City! Heather was also a member and captain of her high school’s dance team, and continued her dance training through college. Heather is excited to be teaching at Dance Unlimited for her sixth season!
Jasmine McDonough has been dancing since the age of 5, training in several styles with a focus in ballet. She continued her dance training through college, receiving a minor in dance from Kent State University. One of her most exciting dance moments was performing a modern piece professionally at the Cleveland Dance Showcase. Jasmine loves sharing her passion for dance and helping students of all ages develop a love for dance.
Ashley Klatte-Olson began dancing at age 3 and competed throughout high school and into college. While in college she traveled to Australia for six months where she joined a local Aussie dance company and performed in their dance showcase. When Ashley arrived back in the states she performed in many dance productions at the University of Minnesota – Duluth, where she received a minor in Dance. Ashley loves to teach dance for all ages in multiple genres.
Melissa McCabe began dancing at age 4. She was trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Pointe and Lyrical. She has competed both locally and nationally, and has trained with Desiree Robinson, Gregg Russell, Ray Leeper, Doug Caldwell, Chris Moss and Wade Robson to name a few. Melissa also performed in the pre-game show for Super Bowl XXVI. Melissa has taught a wide range of ages and dance styles. Melissa's greatest love is to perform and teach others. Melissa will be teaching recreational classes, competition teams and soloists this season.
Kirsten Brenden has been dancing since age 3 and holds a BA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Her training includes ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and musical theatre. Through intensives and conferences, Kirsten has had the privilege of performing in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Seattle, WA. She looks forward to an exciting first year with Dance Unlimited!
Makayla Stocke has been dancing since the age of 3 when her mom first introduced her to the dance world. Makayla is trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and contemporary. Her favorite style of dance is now tap. She has competed locally and nationally since the age of 10. She also has assisted classes with Kaleena Miller from rhythmic circus. Makayla is excited to be teaching at Dance Unlimited!
Whitney Nobles fell in love with dance at the age of 3. Training in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop, she competed in many local competitions for years. Working with children has always been Whitney’s passion. She has been teaching a variety of ages and styles of dance for 10 years. She loves watching her students grow and reach their goals through the love of dance. She is very excited to be a part of the Dance Unlimited team!
Kristi Loeck has been dancing since the age of 3 at her home studio in Marshfield, WI. Kristi has studied many styles of dance, with her main training being in ballet and modern. Kristi was on her high school's dance team, and continued to dance while attending the University of Minnesota where she completed her degree in Elementary Education.
Allyson Tolbert holds a BFA in Musical Theater performance from the University of Florida. National Tours include: Mel Brooks 'The Producers'; Disney's Beauty and the Beast; and Catch me If you Can. Off Bway:Wonderful Town. Favorite Regional credits: The Guthrie Theater;Portland Center Stage; Westchester Broadway Theater . In addition to performing,Allyson has taught various styles of dance throughout greater NYC area for several years. Including assisting at the prestigious Ballet Tech, New York City's public school for dance.Allyson is thrilled to be joining the Dance unlimited team this season!
Gretchen Novak Owner & Director of Dance Unlimited, has taught dance for over 15 years and has directed several area programs. Gretchen has studied all styles of dance, with an emphasis on ballet. She enjoys working with all age groups, from toddlers to adults, and brings proper technique to the classroom while practicing a fun environment. Gretchen continues to increase her exploration of dance through trainings, specialty programs and participation in performance opportunities. She believes that dance is a life-long treasure to be enjoyed at any age! Gretchen is also a certified gymnastics coach, fitness trainer, and yoga instructor.
Elyssa Fink has been a dance teacher for several years, and looks forward to teaching at the new Dance Unlimited location this year! While her main focus has been in ballet, she has also studied many other forms of dance at the University of Minnesota, including modern, jazz, and tap. Through her experiences at diverse studios, she has learned the importance of teaching proper technique and alignment.
